Despite its relatively small stature, Dewberry School prides itself on offering a multitude of unique programming opportunities for students. Some of these unique programs include literacy skill enhancement through the active use of the Accelerated Reader Program from grades 1-9, Numeracy for Life and Sublimation for Gr. 7-9. Healthy and active lifestyles are promoted through our grade 1-6 swimming program, grade 7-12 food studies programs, and competitive athletics programs at the secondary level.
High School programming is provided to students in a multitude of modalities including traditional classroom offerings, synchronous videoconferencing course offerings, asynchronous online courses, off campus CTS programming through Lakeland College, and work experience. The overall result is a rich array of learning environments that not only provide students with a generous selection of programs, but also promotes the development of learning skills in wide variety of learning experiences.
